The cynical among us have been quick to point out that though you can't see the blades, they are in fact, contained within the casing, making it rather like a hovercraft turned on it's side.
It has to be said that it is a good looking gadget and it will be intersteing to see how the market reacts to it and whether the Dyson name will carry it off.
